We had some very gratifying findings from Open Country’s recent members’ survey 2024, and some of the key results are shown in our snapshot image.

100% of those who responded say they have fun, and feel safe and supported when out with Open Country.

98% feel like part of a team, spend more time outdoors, feel respected by Open Country and have a real sense of belonging.

63% of people have been involved with Open Country for more than 5 years, and across the board, responses are overwhelmingly positive, with our members taking the time to add additional comments praising staff and volunteers, and the impact our activities have on health and wellbeing.

The survey was available via an online survey tool and posted to all members. Surveys were also taken out on activities. Support was also offered to members, in person or over the phone, to try and maximise responses.
